Powertrain
- Cold start, idle, boost leak smoke
- Gearbox into all ratios, including crawler if fitted
- Differential noise on a short drive
Chassis and dump
- Frame cracks at the back-of-cab and dump hinge
- Lift cylinder drift and pin wear
- Box floor thickness and weld repairs
Cab and electrics
- Sleeper rust, glass, locks
- ABS lamps if the truck is supposed to have ABS
We send an unedited walk-around. If a seller will not film the chassis rails, walk away.
