If you run sites in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or Tanzania, a used Chinese dump truck is still the volume buy. New European tippers do not match the parts map, and the FOB gap is large enough to pay for inspection, paint, and ocean freight.

These are yard bands, not a promise on one chassis. Year, hours, and a walk-around video come before the deposit. Ignore listings that print “production date 2025” on every truck.
6×4 or 8×4
A HOWO 6×4 with a 16–20 m³ box is the default for mixed public roads and building sites. Step to 8×4 when the work is quarry or mine short-haul and you need extra axles more than highway speed.
